Where is the Villa? | |
AMBROSIA Villa is located near the main Church in the center of Oia Village, Santorini's traditional and artisan village.
It is positioned a few stairs down from the top of the island's cliff. From your private terrace you will have dazzling day and starlit night views to the sea and to the amazing Santorini volcanoes with the surrounding multi-layered caldera cliffs. Although in the very center of the village, this is a peaceful setting surrounded by church chapels and private homes. You can easily walk to the famous sunset, the castle ruins, the charming little restaurants and tavernas, the artist workshops and small specialty shops, the village's bakery and sweet shops, even down the 220 steps to the Ammoudi fishing harbor for a swim and fresh fish with Greek ouzo. Parking is free and a short walk away - either near the Town Hall (Kinotita) and Post office (Taxidromia) or slightly further away near the village's Bus Square.
Taxi service is available from either the Bus Square or the Town Hall. A local Donkey 'taxi' can also be arranged if you are arriving with tons of luggage !
